Lavander is a herb used since ancient times as a cleanser, perfume and medicine.

Its lilac flowers will scent and colour your garden and hedges. Its flowers are used for perfumes, essential oils, hydrolats and scented sachets.

You can grow it all year round with our smart garden, but as it’s a bush we suggest transplanting the young plant into a bigger pot or into the garden outside.

Uses

You can use lavander in different ways. Lavander can be used for cosmetics, as a perfume, as dried flowers to scent clothes, or as a cleanser. It can also be used as an infusion in order to alleviate headaches or to facilitate sleeping. It can be used to prepare a liqueur, a cocktail or to add flavor to honey and jam (excellent combined with apricot jam!).
